# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The dramatic sunrise look is guaranteed to get a “wow” before the first sip, especially if you drizzle grenadine with flair.
  • It’s deceptively simple and makes everyone feel like they’re on a tropical getaway—zero travel required.
02 -
  • If you rush the grenadine pour, it’ll mix too quickly and the sunrise effect will fade—steady hand wins the day.
  • I learned to let fresh juices settle after straining; it prevents tiny bits messing up the glassy look.
03 -
  • Pouring the grenadine down the side of the glass using the back of a spoon keeps those gorgeous layers picture-perfect.
  • Choose clear glasses—nobody wants to hide that sunrise!
